Due to the global supply disruption and shortages, we are having problems getting some of the raw materials used to manufacture our hoods. One is the specific dye in our resin to make it the yellow that ages to the dark brown many of our customers are familiar with. Please expect these color variations- Dark pencil yellow, burnt orange, brown, and a very pale brown. All will continue to age naturally as resin does. Black will be black, but yellow will be termed “natural” and for the foreseeable future will ship as the pale tan/brown color. It will darken to brown but we don’t know how dark it will eventually go, and if it will ever get to the dark burgundy that many of you love and covet. Please be patient with our disruption/change as we have been working months on a solution and this was the only option to keep our hoods at the current price point. There will also be more out of stocks on the “yellow” as until the market settles a bit and we can get full runs on the production. Thank you for being our customer!
